I have a content type which has an attached image, I have a view which displays the nodes in rows with the image thumbnail at the far right on each row.
If image:attach does not exist for the node, I want to display user:picture, or a default image in its place.
I can add both image:attach and user:picture to the fields displayed, where they both appear in the view, but I only want user:picture field to appear if image:attach doesn't exist.
I know this can be done quite easily and quickly with theming, but I'm not an expert in this area. |

We are looking for modules to be built for Drupal 6.x that will do the following:
This is a link exchange project where site owners can enter their site url and keyword or key phrase and a report is given that shows them the most qualified candidates for links exchange.
Here are the basics:
To qualify the user must have an account.
The user must have had our reciprocal link up for x number of previous hours/days (definable) (or) pay for the service.
Results are based on keyword and page rank of site candidates.
Will try to extract email addresses from candidate sites for the user and will deliver via a downloadable csv or tsv file for that user so that they can import data for use. The data will just be 2 fields, email and domain name.
Link candidate lists are saved for user and the user can choose to keep, delete or append to the list.
There will be an entry for each link candidate for reciprocal link placement. This is the url that the candidate has placed the link to the user's site.
Will give the option of allowing the users the ability of tracking if site has recipricol link on their site. This will only work if user enters url of placement of their reciprocal link as described above
Possible addendum to module:
Site owners may also categorize their site for site subissions in our link directory. These links must also be checked for recipricol link and allow deletion of links from category due to lack or reciprocal link. |

Scraping + Search, Engine
Project Outline:
To Create or Assist me Create. ( Post What you are offering with Bid)
Delivery Method:
Drupal Modules (<-- preference) , or RubyRails ( must help with deployment) or PHP, the database will be mysql.
Requirement:
I require a search box (Engine / Database).
that will scrape content from another site(s) and then display the Content + Relevant Pic's
(u even give me the engine and scraping techniques then i can do the rest)
you will be given access to a development server were the app will be running it has ruby/rails/gem install and full php / database support.
I prefer the final product to developed in the Drupal CMS system as Modules, This could save you alot of time because Drupal offers "Multi-Search" modules and search modules might be simpler for you to modify these open source modules , But its just to you the final product does not have to be drupal, I have some coding skills and if you would like to "bid" on assisting me create this myself im open to that.
Suitable for:
This project is suitable for a Student or a Solo Coder just getting into the market, I preferably don't want a big coding firm to bid on this project.
Open to all ideas,
Scott Lindh |

Similar to a blog, micro blog or CMS this site will be a place where people can post small stories and advertise. At a later point the site will have to be expandable to include uploading of pictures, video and later, will need to have room to build on for ecommerce at a later point. I am familiar with Drupal but not to the extent to have it completed. Suggestions on alternate platform are welcomed |

This project is for you to ADVISE us on the best way to implement and create full project specifications. There is NO DEVELOPMENT work yet (there might be later in another project).
We would like to develop a website for event organizers around the world to upload a web advertisement for their event. The following is what we have in mind. However we would like to be advised on what is possible and what isn't, how much work it would be to implement, and hear your own ideas and examples of how to organize and implement the site. In particular we have been advised by others that Drupal would be a good implementation framework and would like your thoughts on this.
The output of this project would be a detailed written specification and design outline (in written and graphical form) as well as an estimate of effort involved to implement. This would form the basis for another Scriptlance project. This would be achieved after extensive discussions with us.
Each advertisement will contain links to (off-site) videos, graphics and text as well as a messageboard for guests. Advertisements can be created using pre-built templates. Some educational material about designing advertisements will be provided to organizers. All events will be organized into locations around the world, and event types (e.g. concert, fair, public lecture, community meeting etc) and can be navigated by users in this way. The main page will feature highlighted events displayed in a blog-style fashion. The page main will also display newly added events as well as most popular events. There will also be a calendar view of all events in user's region.
You must have Drupal (or very similar) experience and be capable of writing clear and concise design specifications. If you are interested in implementing the system, you would obviously be considered a prime candidate, but your interest in subsequent development in not essential for this project. |
